The fields are in excellent condition; wear proper clothing/shorts. Be aware that the sun is very bright in midday, so dress accordingly. We offer water, but you are welcome to bring your own; similarly, you are welcome to bring your own lunch. There are plenty of covered picnic tables available, but no grilling or alcoholic beverages are permitted.
The floral patch remains the show’s main attraction. The recent rains have done wonders for the Mazes. The Hayride is entertaining, the Barrel Train is tedious but a favorite of small children, we now have three jumping pillows to tire the kids out before they go home, and there are several more activities. There is no admission or parking charge; simply pay for the activities you desire to participate in or the pumpkins you wish to take home. Hay rides are $4. The Pumpkin Hunt is the main event, and it involves a free wagon trip through the Christmas tree farms where tiny pumpkins are buried (one ticket gets you two mini pumpkins). Tickets may be purchased for attractions such as pumpkin hunting, pumpkin launcher, train rides, spinner, fishing pond, bounce tracks, kid zip line, and the famous striker. Gray’s Farm – across from Willie’s Joint – is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Our patch is open to the public and free of charge, and we welcome visitors of all ages. We have dedicated volunteers who labor tirelessly to beautify the patch, and we invite family pictures. NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED.
The pumpkins are being sold on consignment, and the church must pay for the inventory that has been supplied. As a result, we are unable to provide discounts or make charitable contributions to other organizations. Everyone, even four-legged friends, is welcome to stop over and say hello.
