Dripping Springs is located in the Texas Hill Country near Austin, TX. Besides the beautiful scenery of rolling hills and wildlife surrounding the area, Dripping Springs is also known for its strong family communities and educational systems. This town’s economy has a strong agricultural base for many of its citizens. The population is around 20,000.

Dripping Springs Texas

Founded in 1850, Dripping Springs was an original stagecoach stop between Austin and Fredericksburg. The community has grown from a small, one-school community to five state-of-the-art campuses. The entire community is involved in Dripping Springs ISD, which features a carefully designed educational system. Its educational objectives have resulted in a district-wide blueprint for success.

The median income for a household in the city was $47,212, and the median income for a family was $57,880. Males had a median income of $40,393 versus $30,862 for females. The per capita income for the city was $19,741. About 5.1% of families and 11.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 13.7% of those under age 18 and 3.1% of those age 65 or over.
