In 2021, DSPC and Hometown Missions will collaborate on a unique initiative. The major undertaking for Hometown Mission this year is to construct a “home in a month” for Roy and Louisa Acosta. For many years, Louisa, often known as “LaLa,” has given all of the babies who have been through the DSPC nursery tender care. To be able to repay that love in this way makes us ecstatic. This initiative aims to become a community-wide undertaking, with labor and materials donated by the city and other churches. By pre-building various housing components, we will have the chance to assist directly when construction gets underway in August and September.
